Reviews for Swingline SmartCut A530pro Commercial 24" Heavy Duty Rotary Trimmer - 9624A (Office Product) I simply bought this trimmer for Christmas. I spent a quantity of time learning and determined that I did now not want a great expensive trimmer, as in my experience all of them put on out the identical anyway. I needed one thing with a 24" lower and lucked out they made this edition this big. The surface space is good and marked at 13" broad with very correct guides.
I love the 24" minimize as well.
The trimmer has some bizarre quirks that I to find completely different but no lengthyer unhealthy.
First, the blade is always held above the paper floor, even when the cutting rail is locked down. You must click on the slider down for the blade to chop.
When the paper will no longer be locked down the blade is now not going to lower. I found that if you place the rail 1 of 2 method between locked and up it will possibly, but Id like to simply reduce on occasion without locking.. Not a foul factor, simply one thing to observe.

The simplest terrible I truly have is the reducing rail take a seats over the reduce mark, making any reduces below 2" inconceivable. Not an actual issue for pictures but when reducing business cards it's difficult to cling the cardboards in location. I assume I will get a passion reduceter for occasions after I wish to lower that small.
It can be nice so that you might alternate the blades for a scoring or perforating blade but the blade seems designed to last more and be more suitable.

The unit is very lite pretty, The primary floor is sheet steel, so so long as you dont put extreme weight on it I suppose it's going to cling up. I could see in 10 yrs of heavy use it warping just a little though.

All and all I adore it, and already brag to my fellow picture design nerds about it..
